Sports and Sports
That's the sum of the answer I got from the "what are your interests and hobbies" question when I met with Brenden before his senior session. He was not exaggerating. This senior shoot featured dirt biking, hunting, baseball and the most important one - FOOTBALL. It was a perfect day for pictures as we started out.
Due to some uncooperative mechanics in the bikes, we didn't spend all that long with them before moving on to a few shots with a nod to hunting.
Of course we need those nice senior pics that are focused completely on the senior at hand with no added extras. I really enjoyed taking these classic shots. Brenden has such an easy smile and outgoing personality that it was a breeze to get awesome portraits for him.
Okay, onto the important stuff. School sports. We headed to the baseball field to start with and straight to the pitching mound. No true fastballs for this shoot. Dad wasn't willing to play catcher for full speed!
This shot took a little climbing around from both of us. That sign is really high in the air.
Once baseball was over I got to take my first shots at the new Comet Field. Football is the top priority for Brenden (other than academics I'm sure) so we wanted to end with football. That way we had all the time we needed. It worked out well with the sun setting behind the bleachers and casting a nice soft shadow over most of the field.
This shoot was a lot of fun for me. A big thank you to Canterbury's for being great to work with and to Brenden for being such a good SPORT. (I like word play.) Good luck with the rest of the football season, baseball season, that school thing, and where ever your ventures take you next year!
