Another senior on the blog today but with a bit of a twist. I actually got to take photos of a girl! Woot woot. It kind of made me feel like this....
Okay, so I couldn't jump and stretch like that even when I was 17. Point being, I was pretty excited to take Miranda's pictures before I had even met her. Then when I met her and her mom for our pre-session consult and I got to see how sweet and smiley she is, and how excited she was for senior pictures, I was even more excited. Plus, when we were going over the typically boring contact information stuff; we discovered we were neighbors as I had just moved in a few hundred yards away. What fun!
Okay, on to the good stuff.
On picture day I drove the whole two minutes over to Miranda's house and we got started right away. The open backyard gave us a nice location and we did manage to get Millie, the family baby, into a few shots.
Then while Mom positioned our next prop we stepped out onto the street for a few. Being at the end of a dead end road is really handy sometimes!
Wardrobe switch and we were back to the backyard with Allis. Allis Chalmers to be more exact.
Then time to head into town. I've always thought that pretty little flower patch by the Danes Hall in Waupaca would be a nice spot for photos and Miranda was all on board. There's a little footbridge by the river nearby so we made use of that too. We even had some mid session fun goofing around and jumping off benches and rock walls.
Miranda was so much fun! And she agreed to do this stuff in the middle of Waupaca with cars constantly going by. Awesome. Across the street we went to finish up our shoot. I especially loved using the winding ramp that goes from Main Street to the river.
This is what happened when I asked her to give her mom a serious look. Love!
And since we had fun goofing around the first time, why not play around in the river a bit. (This was a month ago, it was still hot out!)
This was such a fun shoot! And then to top it off, Miranda's mom gave me some awesome news. Weasel's delivers out as far as us!
Thanks for hanging out with me for a few hours Miranda. This session was fun and carefree from start to end and I hope you love your pictures! Have an awesome senior year!
